Owned by the New Madrid Historical Museum, the oldest home in New Madrid was built by Abraham Augustine and moved to its present location in order to escape the encroaching waters of the Mississippi River.
Various photography and painting exhibits will be held on weekends throughout the year with different themes. The house will also be used as a place to offer workshops and classes. Plans for the future include a photo studio and the establishment of a photography club for area school students.
